Mobile Calibration & Repair Technician
ALLTITE is a leader in calibration and torque/tension tooling, committed to providing exceptional service and quality to our customers. Our mobile repair and calibration technicians play a crucial role in delivering on-site services, ensuring the precision and reliability of our customers’ tools.
· Drive the mobile laboratory to customer sites.
· Perform mechanical, dimensional, and low-frequency electrical calibrations on test and measurement instrumentation.
· Execute written calibration procedures as outlined in our Quality Manual.
· Calibrate and repair a variety of tools including manual wrenches, hydraulic wrenches, pneumatic torque multipliers, electric torque multipliers, electronic measuring devices, pressure gauges, calipers, micrometers, and more.
· Maintain and store all customer equipment and calibration tools safely and properly.
· Ensure calibration standards and test equipment are operational and properly calibrated.
· Troubleshoot and repair simple malfunctions.
· Document calibration results using our proprietory TorqueWare calibration management system.
· Provide customer service, including up-sales and cross-sales, and offer safety instructions.
· Assist with customer shipping, repairs, and special projects.
· Maintain a clean and organized mobile laboratory.
• 1 - 3 years of technical or mechanical work experience with strong customer service skills
• Worked autonomously handling both physical and mentally repetitive tasks
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Willingness to travel as much as 75% and possible overtime
· Experience in calibrating torque, pressure, dimensional, and electronic equipment.
· Familiarity with Quality Programs such as ISO 17025, ISO 6789, NIST, and ASME.
· Certifications or training in electronics, metrology, calibration, or repair.
· Competitive pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour with potential commission on sales.
· Full-time employment with a standard 40-hour work week.
